17 Years Later

I've been lucky in my life that I've been able to hang onto so many important relationships, from childhood to adulthood. Growing up, even in high school, I never had tons of friends; but, the ones that I did have - those that went through that crucible with me - are still in my life. I don't try to keep up with the fake people on Facebook that I never had anything in common with. I don't plan on attending any high school reunions in the near future. I'm pretty sure that we still wouldn't have too much to talk about.

A couple of weeks ago, I was convinced to go downtown to check out a musician at the National Underground on Broadway. I'm not a huge fan of Broadway excursions and the anxiety that they can bring on.... And, when I heard that this would be a one-man-band, let's just say that my excitement level waned a bit further. I can honestly say that I haven't been so pleasantly surprised in a while.

I'd say this is navel gazing, but you know how I feel about belly buttons...

In my never-ending quest to get out of (or into) my own head, I decided to take the Myers Briggs Personality Test. Maybe this will factor into no aspect of my life, but I always seem to be a sucker for letting others have a go at my brain machinery.
